Dave,

How's the guitar solos going... Kidding!

Yeah, great advice...

I was just writing, thinking and speaking about the "trajectory" of life and why it's so hard to change it... I think our lives develop momentum, and we're hurdling through space and time like a baseball having left the pitchers hand. Unfortunately, it usually takes a big steroid pumping dude with a big stick of lumber to whack us in a new direction.

Of course, there are better and less painful ways to make a change... but not easy ones. More on the later... but love your direction.

As for Formerfatguy Rob.... great guy and if you wanna drop a few, add a few and gain some total freedom and energy, check out my book, Strength for Life... my latest creation.

I think you'll get it in a heartbeat cause I'm all about not settling. I see "Strength" as the new dimension, the new standard for health and the antidote to mediocrity.

Great post and great advice. It's important to connect with someone who is on the same path as you. It really can help motivate you and inspire you. Thanks for this.

Go to twellow.com and do a twitter search on keywords to find people in the categories you want.

Or, in your case, since you're a writer, go to http://www.menwithpens.ca and hang out in the comments section. Plenty of good people there!

Great post. One question, though. How do you find this person? I've tried to surround myself with positive, creative people. Still, I haven't met/connected with that one person who is like you describe. Any suggestions?
