Freelance Blog Writing Your Readers Will Love

It’s no secret: A blog or website’s success absolutely hinges on the ability of its writers to drive readers to act:

  • To make them subscribe
  • To make them leave comments
  • To make them link back
  • To make them spread the word
  • (And yes, sometimes to make them buy.)

If you’re not hiring writers who can do that, then you’re hiring the wrong writers.  End of story.

Aaaaand …. that’s my sales pitch.  I’m from New York City – I like it short, sweet, and honest.

Why I Might Just Be The Writer You’re Looking For

I write easy to read, easy to act on articles and web copy that sells.  My writing gets attention and gets noticed:

  • Freelance Folder – My posts dominate the “Popular Articles” section – a full 50% – with the top three posts averaging almost 600 Diggs each.  Each post is heavily commented as well (over 150 comments on the top post).  With three dozen posts up and more on the way, I’ve found I resonate well with entrepreneurs and freelancers alike.
  • FreelanceSwitch – Recently tapped to write articles for this 26,000+ subscriber blog, keep your eyes out for links to upcoming articles.
  • Web Writing and SEO Copywriting – While I can’t discuss my clients, I routinely receive comments such as
    • “Everything you’ve been doing has been fantastic. I or the client rarely make any edits!”
    • “These look amazing.  Money well earned, my friend. I’ll probably come knock on your door in a day or so with more work.”
    • “It’s a little amazing how you get it right each time – and for that, I’m thankful.”

My Rates

As my “dance card” has filled up fast due to the success of the Freelance Folder articles and my SEO work, I have a very limited schedule to write with.  My current rates are:

  • For Digg-worthy, social media optimized blog posts, my rate is $75 for a 500-700 word article and $125 for an 800-1100 word article.
  • For web content my rate is $75 per hour.
  • For SEO copywriting my rate is $100 per hour.
  • For sales page copywriting, contact me for a quote based on the scope of the work needed.

You Get What You Pay For … Choose Wisely.

If these rates are well outside your budget, there are many up-and-coming writers who may be a better fit for you.  But if you want top-rate writing, right now, contact me at dave AT rockyourday DOT com to start a conversation that could add to your site’s success.
